Baking is a way of preparing food that is simple and effective in terms of a set of nutrients and allows you to process a large amount of resources at once. The game has several things you can bake, which differ from each other in fullness and nutritional value.

The table below provides basic reference information for baking. It should be noted that the entire nutrient content in the table is for pies of quality 1. The actual nutrient content can be calculated using the formula:

X = C * sqrt(Q)

where C is the nutrient content in the product with quality 1 (indicated in the table), Q is the quality of the product. For example, a product with quality 4 will produce twice as many nutrients, with quality 9 - three times more, and so on. Energy stays consistent regardless of the ingredient/food quality.

The readiness of an item is equal to the number of minutes it will need to cook thoroughly. If you are looking for an easy way to calculate time to cook, scroll to the bottom of the page.

Baking Multiple Things at the Same Time[править]

For convenience, we will present baked goods grouped by the time of preparation (so that it is possible to bake different types of baked goods in one load.

  • 3 coal + 1 firewood + 1 bark: apple pie, meat pie, coconut cookies (check if it burns), mutton pie (check if it burns), potato casserole (check if it burns);
  • 3 firewood: big tat, honey gingerbread (check to see if it burns).

Cooking Equipment[править]

Baking requires a fairly comprehensive preparation. Some ingredients for her in the wild do not exist. Stock up on the following inventory:

  • Millstone
  • Bark Mug, Flask, Pitcher, Barrel, etc
  • Oven (an oven suitable for baking stands in a tavern in the city).
  • Coal or Firewood

as well as wheat and eggs!

Making the Food Step-by-Step[править]

To start, you make your raw food.

  • Prepare the flour by grinding the wheat in the millstone. Be sure stand next to the millstone and find the flour in the crafting menu (F).
  • Craft the dough. It is crafted with 2 flour and 1 egg, and you will need a water source for this in a container, such as a barrel or bark mug.
  • Make a raw version of your desired food. Here are some listed below:
  • Apple Pie: 2 dough, 4 apples
  • Carrot cake: 2 dough, 4 carrots
  • Meat pie: 2 dough, 3 meats
  • Mutton pie: 2 dough, 3 lamb
  • Hemp cake: 2 dough, 2 hemp
  • Rogalik: 4 dough, 3 apples, 3 carrots, 1 coconut

Fuel Baking Time[править]

In baking, the most important thing is to keep track of time. Otherwise, expensive pies can be burned and instead get unappetizing ashes. If you overcook pies for longer than 1 minute, they will burn and become ash. The baking time of the pies is indicated in the table at the top of the page. A simple option is to track the time and take out the pies on time, but in another way, time can be counted with fuel. Burning time:

Fuel Burning Time (min)
Charcoal 3.5
Firewood 2
Stick 3/4 - 1
Branch 1
Bark 0.5

Since 1 readiness = 1 minute it will be easy to plug a fuel into an equation:

  1. readiness / 3.5 = number of coal you will need.

You can fill in fuel as needed to fill in the decimals. Say you used this formula and got 5.77. Then you would use 5 charcoal and a firewood. Use judgement. Hope this helps.
