Beginner's Walkthrough
This page will be indispensable as a help to get you through your first week in the game.
Start
So, you quickly completed the tutorial and ended up in the city. What will we do? First run around the city, get acquainted with its capabilities and offering. In the artisan's corner, you can sell NPC's certain items - Larisa is the auctioneer, you can see what players already sell / buy by speaking to her. There'a also a bank, you can store money with Scrooge, buy a vault, and exchange/sell precious metals for money and certificates of only those metals.
At the right of town are portals that go from city to the main map. The city itself is located, as it were, out of the terrain, so you simply cannot run out of it into the forest. The portals will teleport you to a random location on the map.
Terrain - is a large area covered with forests, sands, meadows and so on. Read more here: Surface Types
In the area there are various animals. Those with yellow names only attack if you attack first, and those with red names (mostly wolves) attack immediately. A beginner up to level 10 is not afraid to die, and a beginner up to level 15 is unlikely to cope with wolves, so be careful.
Your business now is to find a good convenient piece of land, and build your claim there. When choosing a place for a claim, consider first of all the presence of water, because it is needed for the production of leather. White spots on the map are areas where you can mine, and vein deposits will appear. It's good to build your claim a decent amount away from others so you have space to expend if you'd like to later.
Having found a decent place we will build a respawn next. When building a respawn (through the crafting menu), you automatically become attached to this respawn. It will look different from other respawns you'll see. So, when teleporting from other respawns (which includes one in the city and on other people's properties), you will teleport back to your personal respawn. If you build another respawn after your initial, your newly made one will be your new personal respawn point above all other ones you previously made. You may only have one personal one at a time.
After completing the training, you find yourself in a city. You have 8 gold to buy a claim license, but it is better to take the quest from the banker first. You can get a claim license from him (Bank> Get a claim license).
A piece of paper fell into your inventory - a license. Now we return through the city's respawn to our own and select through the crafting menu (hotkey F). You will see a column and a surrounding border - this shows where you would put it. Set it down where you like, left click the construction you've created, but the claim in and build! Now you are a homeowner!
Be sure to manage it carefully, each expansion or reduction of the territory is carried out at the expense of money in your bank account. 1 game tile up to 2000 tiles costs 2 silver, after which the price increases according to the formula size * (2 + 0.0002 * (size-2000)) where size is the number of tiles
On the territory of your claim, another player cannot take or destroy anything that they have to pick up. It is suggested to build a fence inside your claim, because if another player can get inside then they may mess with your things, or steal things that can be stolen. Instead of fences, some players use everything that is built on the ground - even wicker baskets. Others can only pick up what is on the floor, steal plows, set fire to hearths and stoves, empty basins and crush blank building templates.
To build something, you will need tools - which you should have learned a little about during the tutorial.
If you see a horse, you can use it on the farm - right-click - mount. Horse riding is much faster and if you carry something above your head, it does not affect the speed.
There is Karma in the game. Gutting human corpses, robbing graves or killing other players, you go into negative karma and lose the protection of the synod on the surface.
